Culture in Olang
The Marien-Church of Oberolang belongs to the 15. century. The style of it results to many renovations (last around 1900). The Ägidius-Church at Mitterolang was built in 1139. Other churches in Olang are the newgothic church of sacred Wolfgang and the parish church of Niederolang. The monument of Peter Sigmayr and the chapel of memories remembers of the freedom fighter. The village has even a sulfur thermal spring and the flatly of Schornsteig. The "Peststöckl" remebers of the plague at 1543.

Since 2011: The Messner Mountain Museum
The heritage of the mountains: MMM Ripa is one of five parts of incontration with mountains. In the castle Bruneck, which was the summmervacation place of bishops, gives you Reinhold Messner different views of the living on the mountains from villages of Asia, Afrika, South Amerika and Europe. The culture, religion and tourism is highlighted. The culture of the mountains is propably the same as the life of this inhabitants. The people give life to the mountain in this way.
